The eigensolve project is a suite of applications which are under development as part of a PhD project. Already the project has covered new ground in the understanding of protein structure and energy conformation as well as revealing some novel algorithms for spectral graph theory. The project is currently applying advanced computational mathematics in two areas:

  • The first project is the Eigenfold Protein Energy Conformation visualisation (visualization) Engine, which looks at ways of visualising the energy conformation of real proteins.   • The second project is the Deep Search project, which is a next generation search engine and aims to be a quantum leap ahead of the current market leader, Google. An early experimental version can be found at the project gateway www.deepsearch.co.uk
